Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly released the names of 42 ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for screening and subsequent confirmation, JUICY report.
The Nigerian Senate confirmed this in a series of tweet on its official micro-blogging site Twitter handle on Tuesday 12th of May.
Reports state that the names were contained in a letter sent to the Senate and read on the floor of the upper legislative chamber by President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, on Tuesday, 12th of May.
According to the letter, the President sought the consent of the Senate for the confirmation of the nominees.
Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari also added that the profiles of the nominees would be forwarded to the Senate.
