COVID-19: Coronavirus Update In Nigeria

On the 25th of June, 2020, Nigeria government confirmed 594 fresh cases and 7 deaths was recorded, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 22,614.

The spread of COVID-19 Disease in Nigeria jumped as the latest statistics provided by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reveal Nigeria now has 22,614 confirmed cases.

Juicy Update, understand that 594 new confirmed cases and 7 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

To date, 22,614 cases have been confirmed, 7,822 cases have been discharged and 549 deaths have been recorded in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory. A total of 122,155 tests have been carried out as of June 25th, 2020 compared to 120,108 tests a day earlier.

According to the update obtained by Juicy Update the total of 106,006 tests have been carried out as at June 25th, 2020, compared to 103,799 tests a day earlier.

The latest numbers bring Lagos state total confirmed cases to 9,482, followed by Abuja 1,656, Kano 1,191, Oyo 1,188, Rivers 936, Edo 851, Ogun 733, Delta 715, Kaduna 668, Bauchi 493, Gombe 482, Borno 477, Katsina 459, Jigawa 317, Plateau 294, Abia 288, Imo 269.

Ebonyi state has recorded 264 cases, Kwara 217, Ondo 206, Enugu 202, Nasarawa 198, Bayelsa 184, Sokoto 140, Niger and Osun 84, Akwa Ibom 83, Zamfara 76, Adamawa 73, Kebbi 71, Anambra 70, Yobe 56, Benue 47, Ekiti 38, Taraba 19, while Kogi state has recorded 3 cases so far.
